Privacy Policy
Effective August 9, 2026
This policy explains what information Pixel Bead studio handles when you use the website, create patterns, or contact us.
Who controls your information
Pixel Bead studio is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at contact@pixelbeadstudio.com.
Information we collect
You may provide images, pattern data, project titles, palette choices, inventory details, and messages you send to us. When authentication is available, our authentication provider may use cookies or similar storage and process device and request information to manage sessions and security, including while you are signed out. If you register or sign in, it may also process identifiers and account details such as your name and email address. We may receive basic technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as browser type, device information, request logs, and IP address.
How your creative work is handled
Image conversion runs in your browser. Projects and preferences are currently saved in browser storage on your device unless a feature clearly tells you that information will be submitted or published. Clearing browser data may remove locally saved work. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary for authentication, security, locally saved projects, tool-to-tool transfers, and your preferences. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the storage types, purposes, retention, and browser controls.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Pixel Bead studio, save your settings and projects, authenticate accounts, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the service you request or take steps at your request; for our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, and improving the service where those interests do not override your rights; to meet legal obligations; and, where we specifically ask, with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Service providers and retention
Providers that support hosting, authentication, security, and communications may process limited information on our behalf. Locally saved information remains until you delete it or clear browser storage. Other records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including security and legal needs.
International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or other appropriate safeguards for those transfers. Contact us if you want more information about safeguards relevant to your information.
Your choices
You can avoid creating an account, remove locally saved projects through your browser, and contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to your local privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children
Pixel Bead studio is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the processing of their personal information in their location. If you believe a child has provided account information without the authorization required by law, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Contact and updates
Send privacy questions or requests to contact@pixelbeadstudio.com. We may update this policy as Pixel Bead studio changes and will revise the effective date when we do.
